Description:
A narrow evergreen with weeping branches that droop sharply. Showy needles are deep green with silvery undersides. This beauty makes a strong vertical accent in the landscape. The terminal leader may twist if not staked, creating a signature look and with these unique twists, no two trees are alike. The branching structure shows off the two-toned coloration of the short needles in the Spring. As the trees mature, the tightly clasped, downturned branches can even grow into a "skirt" around the base of the tree.
Prefers moist, well-drained, loamy soil, and does best in full sun, but will tolerate light shade. No pruning is needed, other than to remove damaged branches.
