Description:
October Glory develops a tall form with a dense, rounded crown and large, green leaves. Foliage is held on the tree later into Autumn than with most maples. A standout, reliable, bright orange to reddish purple Fall colour. A superb choice of maple for a shade tree for larger landscapes. This maple grows best in a more acidic soil and does well in low, wet areas.
Pruning maple trees at the end of summer is an ideal time to do so. All maples except Silver are Black Walnut tolerant.
