Description:
This small ornamental tree is noted for its’ exfoliating cinnamon coloured bark which is extremely showy. Pretty Fall colour in shades of orange and red and develops a very oval habit of growth. This delightful tree prefers average to moist conditions, and shouldn't be allowed to dry out. It is not particular as to soil type or pH.
Pruning maple trees at the end of summer is an ideal time to do so. All maples except Silver are Black Walnut tolerant.
