Description:
‘Red Pointe’ forms an upright, broad, pyramidal, growth habit with a dominant central leader and strong branching. Dark green leaves in the summer turn to a beautiful red for an early fantastic Fall colour. A superior, faster growing maple that thrives in full sun and will grow best in an acidic soil that is medium to wet, with good drainage.
Pruning maple trees at the end of summer is an ideal time to do so. All maples except Silver are Black Walnut tolerant.
