Description: Proven Winner brand
Fragrant purple blooms with a compact, mounded head, blooming in Spring and reblooming in late Summer. Blooms are not quite as abundant as in spring but are a pleasant surprise when it does. This is a grafted tree form on a trunk of 100 - 125 cm, which will not grow taller but will thicken as it matures. This would be a pretty focal point, and its tidy nature makes it suitable for a smaller garden.
Plant in well-drained soil with medium moisture, in the afternoon sun. To ensure blooms for the following year, any necessary pruning should be done soon after flowering. Lilac plants will want neutral or slightly alkaline soil. Lilacs are Black Walnut tolerant.
