Description:
This evergreen groundcover of blue foliage takes on a hint of purple in Winter. Blue Chip is ground-hugging but with upturned tips and is extremely adaptable. A great choice for erosion control on sunny banks.
Junipers do best in well-drained soil, and will not tolerate any standing water. Once established junipers are very drought resistant. They are not particular as to soil type or pH. To maintain the spread, cut out the ends of the stems, always finding a small branch on top and cutting directly under it, which hides your cut. Do not take shears to this beautiful shrub.
