Amazing crimson Fall colour gives the name ‘Fireglow’ to this amazing specimen. summer foliage is rich burgundy-red. It has a less dense canopy than other types. All Japanese Maples do best in morning sun, or filtered afternoon sun. A hot and/or dry location results in dry, crispy leaves, although Fireglow is somewhat sun tolerant. It prefers to grow in moist conditions, and shouldn't be allowed to dry out. Prune in Summer after the leaves have fully developed. Plant in an area protected from strong winter winds. Burlap wrap is recommended for Winter protection for the first year or two until the tree establishes a good root system. Warrantied until October lst.
