Description:
‘Coralburst’ is the perfect focal point for formal gardens, patios or courtyards. The round compact densely-branched crown is grafted onto a sturdy 1.25 m trunk. If you love crabapples, but don’t have the room, this is a perfect choice. Single pink buds to pinkish flowers open before the leaves emerge and are followed by small bronze-coloured crabapples attracting birds and wildlife to your landscape. Small narrow leaves are medium green throughout summer which turns yellow in Autumn.

Crabapples prefer sun and moist, slightly acidic soil with good drainage for best performance. Pruning is done during the dormant season. Do so in spring after flowering, as it flowers on old wood. Remove any suckers at the base throughout the growing season. A tree guard on the trunk will help prevent rabbit damage over winter and early spring.
