Description:
'Baby Blue Eyes' Blue spruce has sky blue needles all year long, creating a very broad pyramidal spruce. It is a slow-growing cultivar of Colorado spruce growing only a few inches every year. It is ideal for a smaller landscape or as an accent lawn tree.
'Baby Blue Eyes' is very drought resistant, once established, and prefers full sun but it will take some shade, which will increase the depth of its silvery blue colour. This beautifully shaped evergreen requires little to no maintenance and is deer resistant. Weekly adequate water is needed to establish the root system. A good watering every Fall, if rainfall doesn’t come, and a burlap wrap over winter for the lst year is recommended.
