Description:
Pale pink to white flowers produce very large-sized apples with pale yellow skin, covered in a dull red. A Mild flavour with soft, tender flesh that keeps its shape during cooking making it an excellent cooking apple. Ripens Sept. to Oct. Needs another pollinator such as Cortland, Fuji, Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, McIntosh, Red Delicious, Spartan, Yellow Delicious, or Yellow Transparent.
White flowering crabapples will also pollinate most apple trees. A tree guard on the trunk will help protect against rabbits in the Winter and early Spring.
