This amazing hydrangea features beautiful spheres of lime green flowers that appear in early summer. They’ll lighten to a soft green-white before turning jade green for the rest of the season. Flowers are held on strong stems and are great for both fresh and dried cut flowers. Annabelles prefer morning sun to afternoon filtered sun or afternoon shade. Prune Invincibelle Limetta hydrangea in early spring, as soon as new growth begins to emerge on the stems. Prune out any dead wood and cut woody sticks back by about one-third its total height. This helps to preserve the strong woody base while also encouraging new growth for the best blooming. Annabelles are shade tolerant and are the only variety of hydrangea that are Black Walnut tolerant.
